Instructional Strategies
The teacher understands and uses a variety of instructional strategies to encourage learners to develop deep understandings of content areas and their connections, and to build skills to apply knowledge in meaningful ways.
This artifact is from ED322- Teaching Students with Exceptional Needs in the Regular Classroom. This is an instructional portfolio that has multiple different lesson plans created and each one includes accommodations for multiple different exceptional needs. I believe it fits under this standard because it has several well thought out and planned lessons that take students with exceptional needs into consideration.

This is an audio from me teaching phonics during my student teaching. I would often record myself as a way for me to go back and listen to myself and give myself feedback to do better.

This is an example of a graphic organizer my students filled out for a writing unit. We did different science experiments and they took notes and then divided it into this web. This specific one is based on a video that we watched of flowers in dyed water. We filled this chart out together as an example and then watched two other experiments and chose one to fill out this chart on. In writing, we do a lot of modeling to show children how to do an organizer like this and how to take this information and turn it into detailed writing.
