Observing, documenting, and assessing

Students prepared in early childhood degree programs understand that child observation, documentation, and other forms of assessment are central to the practice of all early childhood professionals. They know about and understand the goals, benefits, and uses of assessment. They know about and use systematic observations, documentation, and other effective assessment strategies in a responsible way, in partnership with families and other professionals, to positively influence the development of every child.

This is a document for ED347- Observation, Curriculum, and Assessment.Within this document are a series of embedded links that go to seperate documents of four different types of student observations. These observations were done over 8-hours and showcase an understanding in conducting student observations and assessments.

These are literacy assessments I did during my student teaching for four students. This was to identify where they were and assess what interventions they needed in their small group.
This is an assignment I did for one of classes. I put it under this standard because it can support assessment, documentation, and observation for teachers. Also,  by having information on this, it can help me with differentiated instruction in the future if I ever worked with a child that used an AAC device.
